Dark Green Shibori-dyed Wool Shawl

Made of 100% dyed merino wool, this shawl is both light and warm. Perfect as a wrap for a spring evening. Artisans have dyed this shawl using a shibori technique, where they pinch and wrap individual pieces of fabric before dying it - this creates the "tie-dye" look. Shawl has a small dot pattern on one side, and a larger diamond pattern on the other.

It measures 44'' by 70'' and has dark green tassles on both ends. Would also make a great tablecloth!

AIACA (All India Artisans and Craftworkers Welfare Association) is a non-profit that works in the handloom and handicraft sector of India. In addition to policy research and advocacy, AIACA runs a range of programs that work to promote new models of income generation in order to enhance the sustainability of the India handicrafts sector.
