Re-purposing Plain Old Weeds - The stinging nettle plant, a wild grass in rural Nepal, is a sustainable, renewable resource. Nettle is silkier than hemp, but equally sturdy. By binding these place mats in hand-woven cotton, rural Nepali artisans have created an organic product for modern tables. Each placemat measures 18.5’’ by 13’’ and comes with a lime green napkin.
