Unique Wood Print Block - This isn't a run of the mill wood block stamp. Every inch contains Indian-esque stripes, swoops and swirls. Designers hand draw elaborate patterns, then wood block carvers take between 2 and 10 days to hand chisel individual stamps. Because each stamp requires a significant time investment, carvers often make a limited quantity, then move on to a new design.

Long-Lasting - Master block printers estimate that a single stamp lasts for 1500 meters of fabric. Teak wood holds up well over time, ensuring that your stamp will last for years.

Artistic Accents - Love the patterns but don't want to get paint all over your kitchen table? Prop two or three up on a bookshelf as an artistic accent, or frame them on the wall for a funky bohemian look.

Indian Connection - For centuries, block printers in India have stamped bright, paisley-esque designs. Today even non-Indians can print textiles, stationery, and pottery with the same materials used for hundreds of years. A Trade For A Trade works with an organization dedicated to providing training and resources to revive the livelihood of designers, carvers, and hand block printers. Workers are paid a fair wage, and have access to many social and educational projects in the community.
